Well had to go to Canterbury for an mri scan so went early, took opportunity to wander round Westgate Gardens and into town a little.......

The river Stour as it meanders around the city is marvellous

Nature utilising machinery

Looking down Pound Lane towards the Westgate

Westgate Gardens in bloom

Tower House in the gardens, such history

Looking back towards the Westgate

Little archways......just look at the size of that tree trunk, how old that must be!

So green, coming round to Wincheap side of the city.

No bull......this is real, metal

Canterbury’s castle, unfortunately closed to the public

Looking down Stour Street, converted warehouses

Old and New

What a fabulous dining room!
Well that concluded a lovely walk before going to the hospital to be clamped down in a noisy tube..........
ps scan showed a fractured humerus that happened in December, poor me 🤪
